What are Dependents KITAS and MERP?
- Dependents KITAS (Limited Stay Permit): This permit allows your spouse and children to legally stay in Indonesia with you for a specified period.
- Dependents MERP (Multiple Exit Re-Entry Permit): With this permit, your dependents can travel in and out of Indonesia multiple times during their stay without needing to apply for a new visa each time.
Who is Eligible for Dependents KITAS/MERP?
The following family members are eligible for Dependents KITAS/MERP:
- Legally married spouse
- Unmarried children under 18 years old
- Unmarried children over 18 years old who are still in school or university and are financially dependent on you
- This type of KITAS does not entitle the holder to work in Indonesia.
