"description": "A work permit and residence visa is compulsory for all foreign workers working in Batam. If you already have a company that is capable of sponsoring you, then you can arrange a work permit (Pengesahan RPTKA, which replaced the old \"IMTA\") and residence visa (\"KITAS\") that will enable you to work legally.\n\nThe residence visa and work permit is usually issued for a period of one year, in line with the approved RPTKA and the nature of the employment, and can be extended.\n\n#### What's Included in the Package?\n\nThis is a complete package, and includes the following documents:\n\n- KITAS (Limited Stay Permit, e-ITAS): This electronic permit allows you to legally stay and work in Indonesia for a specified period.\n- Multiple Re-Entry Permit: Now integrated into the electronic ITAS, this allows you to travel in and out of Indonesia multiple times during your stay without needing to apply for a new visa each time.\n- Pengesahan RPTKA (Work Permit): Ratification of the Foreign Manpower Utilization Plan by the Ministry of Manpower. This replaced the IMTA in 2018 and now functions as the work permit, required for all foreign workers in Indonesia.\n- Other Permits: SKTT (Residence Registration Letter, issued by the local civil registry office).\n- Smart Card: An easy way for frequent travellers at the Immigration Check Points — the card holder clears immigration at the Autogates installed at international seaports across the Riau Islands, with no manual passport stamping required.\n\n#### What is **not** Included?\n\n- Foreign Worker Compensation Fund (\"DKPTKA\", formerly known as the \"Skills & Development Fund\") — a compulsory government levy of USD 100 per month per foreign worker (USD 1,200 for a one-year permit), payable to the Ministry of Manpower.\n\n\n#### Eligibility Requirements\nTo be eligible for our Work Permit & Visa Complete Package, you must:\n\n- Have a job offer from a company in Indonesia\n- Meet the educational and professional requirements for your job\n- Provide all necessary documents, including a valid passport, educational certificates, and work experience letters\n\n**NPWP (Tax ID Number)** is mandatory when you are resident in Batam more than 183 days within a calendar year. We can arrange this for you for a separate fee if required.\n\n#### Get Going with Okusi Associates!\n\n* Expertise: Our team of visa professionals has decades of experience in handling work permits and visas for foreigners in Indonesia.\n* Time-saving: We handle the entire process, from document preparation to submission, allowing you to focus on your work and life in Indonesia.\n* Stress-free: We keep you informed at every step of the process and ensure that all requirements are met to avoid any delays or complications.\n* Comprehensive support: Our services don't end with obtaining your permits and visas.
